The server was unavailable for 8.5 hours overnight, this was a result of technical problems experienced by our current hosting company.
A full analysis of this incident will be carried out; we will examine alternative hosting options to prevent this from occurring in the future. In the meantime, please accept my sincere apologies for the inconvenience.
8.5 hours falls outside the guaranteed service level agreed in Krakow. Players who lost games on time during the down time may appeal, and 24 hours may be added to clocks at the discretion of tournament directors.
