The 2025 WCCC Semi-finals (WCCC 49 SF) ...

Here are some highlights:

• Official start-date: June 20, 2025

• TD : Sections 1-3: IA Valery Igorevich Myakutin (RUS); Sections 4-9: IA Bianor de Oliveira Neves (BRA)  

• 9 Sections with 15 players each (134 players + 1 multiple entry)  [in 2024: 120 players]

• Average rating of players in any Section: 2428.8  [in 2024: 2422]

• Players from 42 different countries  [in 2024: 39 countries]

• 1 or 2 players from Germany and no more than 1 player from any other country in each Section

• 7 GM; 27 SIM; 62 IM; 36 CCM

• The winner and the runner-up of each Section (i.e. 18 players) qualify to a WCCC Candidates’ Tournament, provided that they have obtained a positive result
