• 1st place: Schuller, Jean-Claude (LUX) who wins 1000 Euros, and will also receive a trophy and a certificate.
• 2nd place: Khanas, Valeriy (UKR) who wins 400 Euros, and will also receive a trophy and a certificate.
• Equal 3rd place: Wharrier, Jo A. (ENG) who wins 400 Euros, and will also receive a trophy and a certificate.
• Equal 3rd place: Schüppen, Heinz (GER) who wins 400 Euros, and will also receive a trophy and a certificate.

VWC9 was hosted by England on behalf of the ICCF. The preliminary groups of VWC9 started on 1st September 2016, hence VWC9 took just over five and a half years to complete.
