The Candidates Tournaments of European Individual Championship 2019 have been inserted on ICCF web-server.

Here are some highlights:

• Official start-date: March 20, 2019
• TD: IA Marco Caressa (ITA)
• 7 Sections with 13 players each (i.e. 91 players)
• Category 8 (average rating of all Sections: 2440)
• Players from 26 different countries, the most active countries are Germany (21), Russia (15), England and Slovakia (5 each), Poland, Spain and Switzerland (4 each)
• 3 players from Germany, 2 or 3 players from Russia, and no more than 1 player from any other country in each Section
• 12 GM; 43 SIM; 22 IM; 13 CCM; 1 CCE; 1 or 2 Grandmasters in each Section
• The winner and the runner-up of each Section qualify to the Final
