The 2017 WCCC Candidates’ Tournament (WCCC 37 CT) has been inserted on ICCF web-server.
Here are some highlights:
- Official start-date: September 20, 2017
- TD: IA Juan Alberto Martello (ARG)
- 3 Sections with 15 players each (i.e. 45 players)
- Category X (average rating of each Section: 2490)
- Players from 25 different countries
- 3 players from Germany, 1 or 2 players from RUS, no more than 1 player from any other country in each Section
- 19 GM; 12 SIM; 12 IM
- 6 or 7 GM, 4 SIM and 4 IM in each Section
- The winner and the runner-up of each Section (i.e. 6 players) qualify to a WCCC Final
