Personal Settings - Password and Photo

When you click PERSONAL SETTINGS in the login box (see 2.1 above), you are taken to a page from which you can change your profile data. The first part of the Player details page looks like this:

When you click CHANGE PASSWORD you are taken to a form which asks you to enter your Old password, New password and to retype your New password. You should be aware of the following guidelines:

Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least 1 alphabetic and 1 one numeric character.
A password that was used previously at this site should not be used again
Do not use a password that is related your personal data like name, telephone number or email address
Avoid dictionary words
Do not use the same password that you are using in other online accounts

Thus a3ygib (less than 8 characters) or AmlaCsyZ (no numeric character) are invalid passwords. Alpha1Beta is valid but not very strong because it contains two dictionary word fragments. Alp17pha is a good password.

You should upload your photo in your Personal Settings. If you already uploaded a photo earlier, it will be visible, and you can replace it by clicking UPLOAD NEW PHOTO. On clicking this you will be taken to a page which has a button allowing you to choose a file from your computer. The file you choose should not be bigger than 4 MB and must have a resolution less than 3200 x 3200 pixels. You will get the chance to select a part of the picture which highlights your face during upload. Be aware that the final photo used by ICCF will be only 200 x 200 pixels. While it is not necessary, if you have the skills, it is better to first resize your photo to 200 x 200 pixels, showing your face clearly, using photo editing software such as Photoshop, iPhoto, Apple Photos, Picasa or IrfanView.

Please make sure that the image shows you in a suitably serious pose and your face is clearly visible, otherwise your photo will be rejected. Uploaded photos are approved within a week, after which it will be visible in your profile.
