Additional tie-breaking procedure:
If a tie persists after the standard tie-breaking procedures (Silli event: Buchholz cut 2, then Buchholz cut 1, then Buchholz, then Buchholz 2nd stage, and then number of wins) and it is required to determine promotions, then the order is decided by randomization with the help of a random generator.

A total prize fund of $2,000 in Canadian dollars is guaranteed as follows:
-Final round:
--1st place: $600
--2nd place: $500
--3rd place: $400
There will be additional prizes:
-$250 - for the lowest rated player (who advanced to the final) with the best result,
-$250 - for a best game played. The best game prize will be split 50-50 between White and Black. Submissions for this prize should be done by the participating players. Limit is one game (the best one) per player.

The top 5 players in each section will advance to a 15-player round robin Final. The additional tie-break system, described above, will be used to break ties if necessary and determine the top 5.
