Welcome to the 12th Veterans World Cup.

The first two places in each preliminary group, after applying normal tie-breaks if necessary, will qualify for the semi-final stage of VWC 12. The best third placed players in each preliminary group may qualify for the semi-final stage of VWC12 depending on the results from all preliminary groups. No player may qualify for more than two semi-final groups.

The winner of each preliminary group will also receive a prize of 40 Euros in vouchers or in cash. If players score equal points in the places for prizes, the prize will be shared. All prizes will be issued upon the completion of all preliminary groups.

Adjudication will take place if games are unfinished on 30th June 2021.

Ties are broken by the Baumbach tie breaking rule (see ICCF rule 1.3.4.2).
If needed, adjudicators will be selected by the server.
