Educatore, Arbitro, Giocatore di grande talento, Elio Troia è stato per anni l’anima di tutte le squadre “Quattro Torri” e di tutte le iniziative di insegnamento del gioco degli Scacchi nella sua amata terra e via web con i famosi articoli “Il Cavallo di Troia”. Socio ASIGC dal 1974, Elio è stato più volte Capitano delle rappresentative nazionali italiane. Negli oltre quarant’anni di carriera ha giocato più di 1500 partite, risultando così ad oggi il giocatore col maggior numero di incontri internazionali all’attivo.

ICCF standard time control 10 moves in 40 days with duplication after 20 days is used.
If a player exceeds allowed thinking time in any way, the player will automatically be scored with a loss. Under some circumstances all of the player’s games will subsequently be cancelled (if not already rated).
45 days of leave per year are available to each player.
Special leave can be requested from the TD.
Linear conditionals can be entered.
This tournament allows claims based on the six piece tablebase.
Draw offers are restricted to one offer per player every 10 moves (called the ten moves draw rule).
Ties are broken by Buchholz cut 2, then by Buchholz cut 1, and then by Buchholz.
If needed, adjudicators will be selected by the TD.
Other participants can see the games only when they are finished, and at least 10 games are finished in the event.
