Welcome to the 11th Veterans World Cup.

The first three places in each preliminary group, after applying normal tie-breaks if necessary, will qualify for the semi-final stage of VWC 11. The best fourth placed players in each preliminary group may qualify for the semi-final stage of VWC11 depending on the results from all preliminary groups. No player may qualify for more than two semi-final groups.

The winner of each preliminary group will also receive a prize of 45 Euros in vouchers. If players score equal points in the places for prizes, the prize will be shared.

Adjudication will take place if games are unfinished on 30th June 2020.

This is a server event.
The start date was 9/1/2018.

ICCF standard time control 10 moves in 40 days with duplication after 20 days is used.

Linear conditionals can be entered.
This tournament allows claims based on the six piece tablebase. The 50-moves-rule is not applied in positions with seven or fewer pieces.
Draw offers are restricted to one offer per player every 10 moves (called the ten moves draw rule).
Ties are broken by the Baumbach tie breaking rule (see ICCF rule 1.3.4.2).
If needed, adjudicators will be selected by the server.
Other participants can see the games only when they are finished, and at least 10 games are finished in the event.
