Event in tribute to Witold Bielecki (1947-2008) - former president of the Polish Correspondence Chess Federation and Polish delegate to ICCF.
Prizes in the final:
Prize 2000€ for the first 4 players (1000€; 600€, 300€; 100€). There will be no tie-break for the cash prizes but tie-breaks will be applied to decide the medal places
Other potencial prizes will be announced later.
The following qualifications may be achieved in the final:
•The winner of the Diamond World Cup will qualify for a place in a future World Championship final, whilst those in places 2-4 to will qualify for places in a World Championship Candidates event (if necessary tie breaks will be applied to determine these places);
•The winner of the World Cup Final 18 will qualify for the final of the next World Cup Tournament and will be awarded the IM title;
•All other finalists may enter directly a World Championship semi-final (upon payment of the entry fee);
•All participants in the final may enter directly the semi-final of the next World Cup Tournament (upon payment of the entry fee).

ICCF standard time control 10 moves in 50 days with duplication after 20 days is used.
If a player exceeds allowed thinking time in any way, the player will automatically be scored with a loss. Under some circumstances all of the player’s games will subsequently be cancelled (if not already rated).
45 days of leave per year are available to each player.
There is no special leave in this event.
Linear conditionals can be entered.
This tournament allows claims based on the six piece tablebase.
Ties are broken by the Baumbach tie breaking rule (see ICCF rule 220.127.116.11).
If needed, adjudicators will be selected by the server.
