European Individual Server Championship – Preliminaries

Description
The Preliminary tournament is the 2nd level of European Server Championship. These are regularly started tournament sections where entries are continuously accepted. Preliminary tournaments are offered via server playing methods. The Preliminary tournament falls under the responsibility of the Non-Title Tournaments Commissioner. The winner and runner-up of a Preliminary section are entitled to one start in the Semi-Finals, regardless of rating. All sections will be played on the ICCF Server.
European tournaments are reserved to europeans players.

Entry
Entry into this tournament may be made via your National Federation or, where eligible, via the ICCF Direct Entry system.
Size - Preliminary sections typically consist of 11 players, single-round robin.
Rating - Games played in this tournament are rated for the ICCF rating list.
Qualifications
(a) players rated between 2100 and 2299 at the time of application.
(b) players who have won a European Championship Open Round, regardless of rating.
(c) until 30 September 2016 players without ICCF ratings may be nominated by National Federations. Such Nominations must be accompanied by a statement of qualification confirming that the player is considered to be of sufficient strength to enter directly into the Preliminaries.
(d) Winners of European WS Higher Class started during the years 2011-2013.
