Qualification requirements
The following players have the right to participate in European Postal Championship Semi-Finals:
(a) a player rated 2100 or over at the time of application.
(b) a player who has won a European Postal Championship Open Round is entitled to only one start in the Semi-Finals, regardless of rating.
(c) a player without an ICCF rating who is nominated by the National Federation and accompanied by a statement of qualification confirming the player is considered to be of sufficient strength to enter directly into the Semi-Finals.
(d) winners of European Postal Higher Class sections which started between 1st January 2010 and 31st December 2013.
Reserved to players from Europe.
Players have to be rated 2100 or above.
Description
The Semi-Final tournament is the 2nd level of European Postal Championship. These are regularly started tournament sections where entries are continuously accepted. Semi-Final tournaments are offered via postal playing methods. The Semi-Final tournament falls under the responsibility of the Non-Title Tournaments Commissioner. The winner of a Semi-Final is entitled to start in the Final.
European tournaments are reserved to players living in Europe.
