On behalf of the ICCF, I am pleased to announce the 10th Correspondence Chess Ladies‘ Olympiad.

 

All ICCF Member Federations (that are not currently suspended) are invited to enter their team to this event which will be played on the ICCF webserver over two rounds (Preliminaries and Final) if the number of entries will be higher than 17 or just in one round if the number of entries will be 17 or less.

 

Each Federation may enter only one team.

 

The 10th Ladies‘ Olympiad will start on September 1st, 2015.

 

There will be 4 players in each team. A maximum of 2 players may be replaced during the tournament.

 

The right to be promoted from the (eventual) Preliminaries shall be determined by the ICCF Title Tournaments Commissioner and approved by the Executive Board at the start of the tournament. (ICCF Tournament Rule 1.7.7)

 

The entry fee will be € 17 per player, i.e. € 68 per team. There will be no further entry fee for the Final.

 

Team entries have to be sent by the National Federations to the Title Tournaments Commissioner Gian-Maria Tani (ttc@iccf.com) not later than June 30th, 2015.

No replacement or board change will be allowed after that date unless exceptional circumstances occur.

 

All entries should include the following details:

  • board order

  • name, ICCF code and e-mail address of the players

  • name, ICCF code and e-mail address of the Team Captain

 

For title norm purposes, rating numbers will be taken from the ICCF Rating List 2015/3 or from the current FIDE Rating List. FIDE Ratings will be treated as “unfixed“ for title norm purposes.

Players who have no ICCF fixed rating nor FIDE rating will be allocated with a provisional rating of 1900.
