The Semifinal of CAPEA 50th Anniversary Open has 19 groups. For this reason, only one player can qualify from each group to the Final.
To reach this goal, we will apply in this order and successively the following tiebreak systems: 1. Baumbach, 2. Sonnenborn-Berger, 3. Result between players and 4. Highest ELO in list 2022-2.
Some players are included in two groups, but they can only get one place for the Final. If one player qualifies in two groups, the second player from these groups with the most points will qualify. If they are tied, we will apply in this order and successively the following tiebreak systems: 1. Baumbach, 2. Sonnenborn-Berger, 3. Highest ELO in list 2022-2.
If a player who has qualified for the final is unable to participate, the next player from the group in which he qualified will take his place.
