Alexander A. Kiprov (September 11, 1916 - June 6, 2000) - one of the greatest figures of the chess in Bulgaria. One of the chess players started the correspondence chess in Bulgaria. Bearer of a medal "Bertl von Massow"-gold. FIDE International Arbiter. Author of 9 books.
This tournament is organized by BCCF with active partnership of IM Stoyanov, Zlatin and IM Vinchev, Simeon.
