FIDE or ICCF rating of 2300 or higher
Top 3 players in the respective national championship
Winners of a CADAP Maestro Latinoamericano event
Reserved to players from Europe.
Players have to be rated 2300 or above.
Winner will obtain a norm toward the GML title (Gran Maestro Latinoamericano). Two norms required to obtain the title.
