This is a reminder that entries are invited to the ICCF Veterans World Cup
3, either via member federations (closing date 17th July) or
through the Direct Entry system (closing date 31st July).
Preliminary groups are scheduled to start play on 1st September 2010, as
previously announced.
So far, I have received 147 entries which are shown in the appended
schedule . Please let me know if there are any errors or
omissions. Please also note I will be away on holiday from 7th-18th
June, during which period I will not be able to answer questions or acknowledge
entries but will do so on my return home.
May I remind players in Veterans World Cup 2 that play is scheduled
to finish on 28th February 2011 and the Semifinal stage (5 or 6 groups
of 13 players) is planned to start on 1st June 2011. The top three placed
in each of the 21 Preliminary Groups are guaranteed promotion
to Semifinals.
Trophies will be given by the Scottish CCA to the
3 medallists in Veterans World Cup Finals 2&3.
