ICCF Rating Report 2009/2
Ratings Commissioner Gerhard Binder has again produced the excellent Eloquery tool to accpmpany the latest Correspondence Chess Rating List. For the first time the ratings on this list are based on the results of three months only, means the period from 01/03 to 31/05/2009. Of course, we have therefore only half the amount of results and new players than usual.
The ratings in this list will be valid from 01/07 till 30/09/2009. The next list (2009/3) will be based on results reported between 01/06 and 31/08/2009 and will be published at 12/09/2009 and will be valid for the forth quarter of this year.
The pdf-file with the usual information as well as Eloquery are again available from the website. Our programmer Martin Bennedik is currently working on history and forecast facilities similiar to the offer on the FIDE Player Profile. So maybe in near future all Eloquery information will be available online.

Dear friends, During the recent call for elections for the Finance Director position, there were unfortunately no candidates presented by the Member Federation. One of my first duty as ICCF President was to find a volunteer for this very important position. I am pleased to announce that George D. Pyrich (SCO) was appointed as Finance Director by an unanimous vote of the Executive Board and will take effect immediately. George will have the important task to prepare the financial documents to be presented to the ICCF Congress that will take place in Leeds on 12th – 19th September; We congratulate the new appointed Finance Director and wish him good luck and much success in his work . Amici sumus, Eric Ruch ICCF President |
