Dear friends,

On behalf of CNXC, I am very pleased and honored to invite you and your families to the 2002 ICCF Congress. It will be based in Fernão Ferro, Municipality of Seixal, Portugal, between the 5th and the 12th October 2002, and jointly organized by the Câmara Municipal do Seixal and CNXC.

Enclosed herewith is an outline of the programme and the reservation form for the Congress. We ask that you notify us as soon as possible whether or not you plan to attend, how many will be in your delegation and give details of your accommodation requirements and travel plans. If possible, please send me your answer by email, with a copy to João Coutinho jcoutinho58@msn.com, who is the leader of Seixal's task force for the event.

I am sure this will be a Congress with comparatively low accommodation rates and Portugal usually has still good weather in early October. I believe that your families would enjoy to visit us and we are planning to have daily buses to transport them to nearby beaches (don't forget the bathing-suit!) and other places during the Congress sessions.

Quinta da Valenciana (where the Congress will be hosted) and Skyline Villa (5 to 10 minutes walking from Quinta da Valenciana) are a kind of countryside resorts, very peaceful. People staying in Skykine Villa will have breakfast there, but lunch and dinner should be taken at Quinta da Valenciana. The Orion Hotel (also in Fernão Ferro, but not so near to Quinta da Valenciana) is a more "classical" hotel.
